What community means here
The site brings useful starting information into one place for small-pet people. This version has no member accounts, forum, public posts, chat or user submissions. We do not invent members, conversations, testimonials or owner experiences. The name describes a shared interest in understanding small animals.
Species before shopping
The comparison board highlights important differences. The enrichment shelf offers modest species-specific prompts with welfare references. The notebook creates a local text entry from your description without interpreting it. Care notes address practical decisions around adoption, handovers and observation.
Where facts come from
Species and enrichment pages link primary animal-welfare guidance checked on the date stated. The summaries are introductory, not complete husbandry plans. Read the full current guidance and seek appropriate professional advice for individual animals. No endorsement by the referenced charities is implied.
Honest buying notes
We identify specification questions for product categories. We do not claim to have tested each product, publish star ratings or fabricate owner reviews. Original illustrations are explanatory artwork, not retailer photographs, real pets or evidence of a particular setup’s suitability.
Scope and privacy
This site does not diagnose illness, certify habitats, assess bonding or supply treatment instructions. If you are concerned about an animal, contact a vet. Browser tools need no account and send no entries to this site. See the privacy page and affiliate disclosure.
